I remember meeting Elvis for the first time in Richmond.
It was March 12th 1974 at his third and last appearance there.

There was a lot going on as you can imagine, but we briefly spoke in the elevator
at the John Marshall where he was staying.

He was very friendly and we shook hands.  He asked "How ya'll doing in Richmond?"

I told him that I loved his music.
